On Thursday, June 4, at approximately 7:35 a.m., officers, Charlotte Fire and MEDIC responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian call for service in the 1700 block of East 3rd Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a Honda CR-V with front end damage and a pedestrian, Katherine Lamberth, 38, lying unresponsive in the roadway. MEDIC arrived and transported Ms. Lamberth to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
