Speak at a City Council Meeting

Members of the public who would like to sign up to speak on an agenda item for the July 13 Council Business Meeting can complete the Online Speaker Sign Up Form (see below) or call the City Clerk's Office at 704-336-2248 by 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 13. Alternatively, for Public Hearing items on the agenda, written comments (of 375 words or less) can also be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at cityclerk@charlottenc.gov any time prior to Tuesday, July 14 at 11:59 p.m.

 To sign up to speak at a City Council meeting, please complete our online form below and click "Submit". 

Please take the time to review the rules of procedure for addressing City Council, the agenda, and the meeting calendar before submitting your form.

• If emailing or faxing your request, please submit your name, address, phone number and subject matter.

• If you plan to present Council with information, please prepare fifteen (15) copies and present them to the City Clerk at the start of the meeting, the information will be distributed when you begin your presentation.
