Overview

The Water Oak Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 115 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Bertonley Avenue to the north, Addison Drive to the south, Emory Lane to the east and Whitby Lane to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and Sealand Contractors Corp. continue with construction. Thank you for your patience. 

Project update 

Storm drainage improvements continue along Addison Drive and Stafford Circle. On February 29 the intersection at Emory Lane and Stafford Circle will be closed. The closure is anticipated to last 90 days. To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians and crew, please follow all signs.

              

Estimated Cost: $14,100,000*

*includes all costs associated with this project such as planning and design, utility relocation, consultant fees, permits, construction, and landscaping.
