Overview

The Riverbend Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 99 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide improved drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Ashton Drive to the north, Sharon Road to the south, Sherbrooke Drive to the east and Whistelstop Road to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a public meeting on November 28, 2023 to present the proposed improvements and begin the easement acquisition process for the Riverbend Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
