Mayor's Youth Employment Program Works with local businesses to provide high school age youth 16-18 years with exposure to jobs and industries as well as career-oriented experiences.
Mayor's Mentoring Alliance Connects Charlotte mentoring agencies, promotes mentoring best practices, promotes standards, and celebrates mentoring through an annual mentoring awards program.
This certification program provides youth ages 16-24 with essential skills training that prepares and strengthens them for the workforce. This training is a prerequisite to participating in the Mayor’s Youth Employment Program for otherwise eligible youth.
Charlotte Career Discovery Day The CCDD is a highly engaging event that will feature a variety of interactive industry zones designed to expose up to 4,000 youth to emerging careers in a variety of sectors.
