The Neighborhood Matching Grant (NMG) Program is a program for neighborhood-based organizations to help them improve the quality of life in their communities.
The Neighborhood Matching Grants Program has helped Charlotte residents improve their neighborhoods since 1992. The program awards funds to eligible neighborhood-based organizations for projects that make neighborhoods better places to live, work, and play.
Attendance at a pre-application workshop is required. If your neighborhood representative is unable to attend a scheduled workshop, you may view or revisit the workshop presentations using the links below:

NMG Pre-Application Public Workshops – March 1, 2023 Application Deadline
Join us to learn the ins and outs of your Neighborhood Matching Grants (NMG) program. These pre-application workshops will help you think through project ideas, provide instruction for completing the online application, and tell what you to expect during the application and project implementation processes. Attendance at a workshop is required prior to applying for a grant.

Virtual workshops will take place via Microsoft Teams. Online and call-in access instructions will be emailed to registered participants prior to the workshop.
