Join Storm Water Services for The Big Spring Clean

Mecklenburg County, N.C. – Join Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and hundreds of residents on March 25 for a morning of spring cleaning. Storm Water Services staff will be at seven stream locations around Charlotte-Mecklenburg that need a litter pick-up.  

The event will be from 9 a.m. – noon as volunteers remove litter from stream and along the stream banks.  This event is suitable for all ages and abilities. Storm Water Services will provide gloves, trash bags, water, and snacks for all volunteers. Come out and meet new neighbors, all while giving back to your community.

Media are welcome to join us at Toby Creek – 1100 Chancellor Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28213.  There will be Storm Water Services staff on site for interviews and visuals for your story.
