Elmwood Cemetery is a center-city gem. But did you know it's also a certified arboretum? City of Charlotte arborists and the cemeteries manager will lead a walking tour, where you'll get tips on how to identify trees and discuss the City of Charlotte's meticulous stewardship of its iconic tree canopy. You'll also learn about the historical figures buried at this historic cemetery. The event is appropriate for all ages. The leisurely tour will be no longer than one mile and is accessible for cyclists and pedestrians. Please note the ground may be uneven at times. Space is limited, so RSVP today! A waiting list will be made available once slots are filled.

NOTE: The rain backup date will be Sunday, April 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.

PARKING: Please refer to this map for detailed parking directions.
