Previous Public Meetings

Spring 2023:

CATS held a live virtual public meeting and comment period in May 2023 to present three potential vehicle maintenance facility sites and seek feedback.

Fall 2022:

CATS held two live virtual public meetings and an online open house in November 2022 to present a proposed route and station shift in the Bojangles Coliseum area and potential route and station changes in and around Center City Charlotte. Both live virtual public meetings included the same presentation.

Fall 2021:

CATS held two live virtual public meetings and an online open house in October and November 2021 to present five proposed alignment and station refinements and a proposed phasing strategy. Both live virtual public meetings included the same presentation.

Winter/Spring 2021:

CATS held six virtual public meetings and an online open house in February and March 2021 to present the preliminary staff recommendations for public comment and review. Each meeting featured a presentation and Q&A for one "Focus Area."

Early Scoping (Fall 2020):

CATS held six virtual public meetings and an online open house to present the alternative alignment options for public comment and review. Each meeting featured a presentation and Q&A for one "Focus Area."

Spring 2020:

CATS held a public engagement and comment period in spring 2020 to seek feedback on the community’s priorities for the Silver Line light rail. Two of five planned in-person public meetings were held; the remaining three in-person public meetings were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
