This project aims to create a modern mobility hub that integrates seamlessly with the MetroRAPID Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, providing efficient and reliable transit options for commuters. Located on the south side of Hambright Road, this facility will offer over 500 parking spaces, along with a range of amenities designed to improve the overall commuting experience.

 

Project Description

Location: South side of Hambright Road, between Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road and Interstate 77 in Huntersville, NC
Capacity: Over 500 parking spaces to accommodate growing commuter needs

- A new public street for easy access
- Driver comfort station with restroom facilities
- Internal pedestrian circulation for safe and efficient movement
- Mobility hub for micro-mobility options and shared ride services
- Site security and surveillance for safety
- Landscaping and Art in Transit component to enhance the environment
- Bicycle and pedestrian amenities to support sustainable transportation
