Tips on how to clean up your neighborhood:

People socializingStart with a plan

Before you begin cleaning your neighborhood, create a plan of action. Determine which areas you want to clean and what supplies you'll need, such as garbage bags, gloves, and a litter picker. Consider organizing a group of friends or neighbors to help you with the clean-up.

People cleaning upBe safe:

Litter is one of the most visible and harmful forms of pollution. Walk around your neighborhood and pick up any litter, such as plastic bottles, cigarette butts, and food wrappers. Remember to dispose of it properly in a trash can or recycling bin.

Clean up public spaces:

Many neighborhoods have neglected public spaces like parks or community gardens. Consider organizing a community clean-up event to clean up these areas and make them safer and more enjoyable.

People holding handsEncourage your neighbors:

Be a role model for your community and encourage your neighbors to get involved in cleaning up your neighborhood. Share your experiences on social media and encourage others to participate in the weekly challenges.

Remember, cleaning up your neighborhood is an ongoing process, not just a one-time event. By consistently keeping your neighborhood clean, you'll be contributing to a healthier and more beautiful community for everyone to enjoy.

Note: The weekly challenges will be announced on our Instagram page, and winners will be chosen at random and announced on our Instagram page.
