CATS Announces Public Meetings for February Service Changes
Virtual and In-Person Meeting Opportunities Scheduled
This October, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host community meetings to get feedback from riders on potential changes to routes 57 and 235, both of which would occur in February 2024.
- Route 57 – Archdale: CATS is proposing to add later weeknight and Saturday service, in addition to new Sunday service to better serve rider travel needs.
- Route 235 – Goodwill: CATS is proposing to add later weeknight and Saturday service, in addition to new Sunday service to better serve rider travel needs. CATS will also present two routing scenarios to the public for input:
- Option 1: 50-minute service that connects riders to the Valerie Woodard Center, Phillip O. Berry, Ashley Road, Wilkinson Wal-Mart, Renaissance West community and the CPCC Harris campus. Service to Goodwill, West Blvd Library, and along Seymour Drive and Scott Futrell Drive would be discontinued from this route.
- Option 2: 45-minute service that connects riders to the Wilkinson Wal-Mart, Renaissance West community and the CPCC Harris campus. Service to Goodwill, West Blvd Library, and along Seymour Drive and Scott Futrell Drive would be discontinued from this route.
In-Person Meeting:
- Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the West Boulevard Library, Community Room A – 2157 West Blvd., Charlotte, NC, 28208
Virtual Meetings via CATS YouTube:
